The color of gold
The most frequent colors are :
- Yellow gold formed of 3/4 of pure gold, alloyed copper and silver on equal terms
- Pink gold formed of 3/4 of pure gold, alloyed copper which makes it its warm color and a smaller share of silver.
- Gray or white gold, formed of 3/4 of pure gold, alloyed with several components including nickel.

In our catalog, when the descriptive text does not specify pink or gray gold, our jewelry is made of yellow gold.
The highest jewerly (or pure gold content) title is 18 carats (3/4 pure gold and 1/4 other metals). This is the only legal title in France : it is guarantedd by the State which affixes its stamp (Official Warranty Service).
In the majority of foreign countries, other lessrich titles (14, 12, 9 et 8 carats) are commonly marketed.
Each gold jewel must have :
- The manufacturer's liability mark approved by the Administration
- The official warranty guarantee title (for jewelery over 0.5 grams)
